Alex Tahau is a Financial Accountant at Xero since October 2025, following a diverse career that includes roles at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from July 2019 to October 2025, where Alex served as an Assistant Accountant and Capability Adviser, alongside a position as a Te Reo Māori Tutor. Prior to these roles, Alex worked as a Private Tutor in Te Reo Māori from August 2018 to July 2019 and gained foundational experience as an Accounting Technician at Anne Sansom Accounting from February 2014 to September 2015. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Commercial Law from Victoria University of Wellington, completed between 2017 and 2021, after graduating from Opunake High School in 2016.
