Maria Zammit is an experienced financial accountant currently working at Munich Re since November 2021. Previously, Maria held roles at Aon as Finance Manager and Finance Executive from January 2019 to November 2021, where responsibilities included day-to-day accounting duties and compliance with regulatory and Solvency II requirements for a range of insurance clients. Prior experience includes an advisory role at KPMG Malta focused on Solvency II audits and licensing compliance, as well as an internship at EY. Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Accountancy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Insurance from the University of Malta, complemented by a MATSEC Certificate in Accounting and Pure Maths and a SEC Certificate in Accounts and Economics from G.F Abela Junior College and Convent of the Sacred Heart, respectively.
