The YMCA has been a part of Nashville and Middle Tennessee since 1875. Today, they serve a membership base in excess of 200,000 through 15 membership centers. They also provide before- and after-school care at more than 120 locations, serving more than 5,500 children.

Operations and Management Team

The Fitness and Aquatic Instruction team at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee facilitates a wide range of fitness and swim programs designed to promote health and wellness for members of all ages. This team includes certified instructors and trainers who lead group fitness classes, personal training sessions, and aquatic exercises while also ensuring safe and enjoyable swimming experiences through lifeguarding and swim instruction. Their mission is to inspire a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of community through engaging fitness and aquatic activities.
