Monica Mohammad, CCIP, CPHR, is a dedicated equity, diversity, and inclusion professional with over 10 years of experience in strategic EDI work, community engagement, and organizational development. Currently serving as the Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at YMCA BC, Monica previously held roles such as Learning and Development Specialist at the City of Surrey and EDI Specialist at WorkSafeBC, where they led multiple initiatives to foster inclusive workplaces. Monica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and English and completed a Human Resources Management Certificate at Simon Fraser University.
