Jonathan Malagon, MPH, MCP, MEd, is a dedicated health equity leader and urban planner with a focus on racial equity advocacy and equitable urban governance. Past experiences include serving as a Graduate Student Researcher for the City of Richmond, where they contributed to the city's pioneering Health in All Policies Strategy, and as a Planner II, where they advanced various city planning projects. In their role as Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, they continue to promote equity initiatives. Jonathan has also held positions such as Community Health Manager and Equity Manager, demonstrating a consistent commitment to improving health outcomes and advocating for marginalized communities through education and policy reform.
