Toby Yakubu-Sam is a seasoned design researcher with extensive experience in user experience and product design. Currently serving as a Senior Design Researcher at Wise since September 2021, Toby leads research efforts for investment products aimed at both personal and business customers. Prior to this role, Toby was User Research Manager and Senior User Experience Researcher at BT, contributing to significant projects such as the JTBD study on customer purchasing behaviors for TV bundles. Additional experience includes roles at Boiler Room, Nimbletank, Somo Ltd, and various internships, focusing on user-centered design, research methodologies, and innovative product development. Toby holds a degree in Product Design (UCD) from the University of Brighton and has a foundational background in Business Studies from the University of Kent.
