Joel Friedman is an experienced security and technology executive currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at The Voleon Group since October 2025. Previously, Joel held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer at LivePerson from January 2023 to October 2025, and served as Chief Information Security Officer at PDT Partners from April 2020 to January 2023, where responsible for managing comprehensive information security programs. Prior to these roles, Joel was the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Rackspace Technology, contributing to its reputation as a leader in cloud computing. As the Chief Technology and Security Officer at Datapipe, Joel played a significant role in transforming the company from a startup to a major player in managed services before its acquisition by Rackspace. Earlier career positions include serving as Chief Security Officer and Director of Security at Aiko Consulting Inc. Joel is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cyber Security at UNSW.
