Michael Covert is the Executive Vice President of Services and Quality at Terracon Consultants, Inc., a position held since 2023. Previously, they served as the National Director of Environmental Services at Terracon from 1994 to 2023 and have held various roles in environmental services, including Principal Owner and Director at HBC Engineering, Inc. and Environmental Services Manager at Southwestern Laboratories/Huntingdon. Michael began their career as a Petroleum Geologist at Cordova Resources from 1982 to 1985. They hold a Bachelor’s in Geology from Southern Methodist University and are pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Baker University alongside a Master's degree in Environmental Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
