Brian Neufeld, P.Eng., is currently the Chief Metallurgist at Teck Resources Limited, where they focus on process optimization and mentoring a team across various business areas. Previously, they held positions as a Senior Production Engineer in the Leaching Business Area, Technical Superintendent, and Process Engineer in Training at Teck, achieving production and quality targets while resolving technical challenges. Brian began their career in metallurgy as a Junior Metallurgy Team Member at Barrick Gold Corporation and has also worked at INCO and Vale. They earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
