Mohan Sinnathamby is a seasoned ASIC Digital Design Engineer currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Synopsys Inc. Prior to this role, Mohan worked at The Six Semiconductor as a Principal Digital Design Engineer and at Pixelworks as a Principal Engineer/Architect, focusing on mobile video display IP. Their earlier experience includes significant roles at ViXS Systems Inc., where they contributed to the design of video decoders and encoders, and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, where they proposed an instruction set extension for microprocessors. Mohan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and a Master’s degree in Engineering, both in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and Queen's University, respectively.
