Vikram Shree is a Senior Perception Engineer at SiLC Technologies, Inc. since August 2025, specializing in the development of statistical and machine learning models for high-level perception tasks using FMCW lidar pointcloud. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Perception Engineer at NODAR from September 2022 to June 2025, where Vikram focused on 3D knowledge integration for safer automated mobility, along with foundational algorithms for long-range obstacle detection. Additionally, experience as a Perception Engineer involved enhancing autonomous vehicle perception capabilities. Earlier roles included a research internship at Samsung Benelux, where Vikram contributed to indoor localization using Ultra-wide Band, and work at Texas A&M University on SLAM techniques. The academic journey includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, with a minor in Computer Science, and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
