Nazlim Bagcivan has extensive experience in surface technology, currently serving as Vice President of Surface Technology and Director of the Coating Center at Schaeffler since September 2014. Responsibilities include managing a multidisciplinary team, overseeing R&D in Surface Technology, and leading the development of Triondur Serial Coatings. Previously, Nazlim held the position of Manager Development Surface Technology at Schaeffler, focusing on R&D responsibilities and collaboration on coating technologies. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Engineer and deputy head at the Surface Engineering Institute RWTH Aachen University, where responsibilities encompassed thin film coating technologies. Academic qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Surface Engineering and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautics and Space Engineering, both from RWTH Aachen University.
