Dr. Florian Blechschmitt is a Senior Vice President and currently heads the Business Development & Strategy Division E-Mobility at Schaeffler AG. They previously served as the Vice President, Head of Corporate & Sustainability Strategy, and held various senior roles including the Head of Group Integration Office and Head of Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management at Schaeffler AG. Dr. Blechschmitt earned a PhD in Strategic Management with a focus on Corporate Restructuring from the University of Mannheim, where they were a Research Associate. Their education also includes a B.Sc and M.Sc in Industrial Engineering & Management from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, along with studies at institutions in China and Spain.
