Junyu LIU is an experienced algorithm engineer currently working at SAP since October 2025. Prior to this role, Junyu held positions at Scale AI as a customer engineer, Toshiba as an AI researcher, and has contributed to advancements in AI during research assistantships at Kyoto University, as well as previous algorithm engineering roles at Hikvision, HY Medical, and Tsinghua University. Junyu's expertise includes resolving complex technical issues, optimizing AI models, and developing innovative solutions in various fields, particularly in manufacturing, healthcare, and neuroscience. Junyu is pursuing a PhD in Medical Informatics at Kyoto University and holds degrees in Automation and Control Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, along with experience as an exchange student in Electrical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology.
