Richard Williamson is currently the Chief Airworthiness Engineer at Rolls-Royce, bringing over 28 years of experience in technical roles focused on customer satisfaction and aero-engine design. They previously held various positions at Rolls-Royce, including Global Chief of Maintenance and Overhaul Engineering and Chief Service Engineer, where they led initiatives to enhance safety and reliability. Earlier in their career, Richard completed a work experience placement at Air New Zealand Engineering Services, gaining hands-on knowledge in airframe repair and engine maintenance. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury and are pursuing a Private Pilot's Licence at the Kapiti Aero Club in New Zealand.
