Dr. Nigel Bird is currently the Executive Vice President for Turbine Systems at Rolls-Royce, where they oversee critical aerospace applications in turbine technology. Previously, they held various leadership roles within Rolls-Royce, including General Manager of Turbine Surface Technologies and Manufacturing Executive for Turbines. Dr. Bird has served as a Non-Executive Director at Turbine Surface Technologies since 2018. They earned a D.Phil in Materials Science from the University of Oxford and also attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
