Azad V is a skilled materials engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently employed at Rolls-Royce as a Materials Engineer since September 2023, Azad focuses on design and development of aero engines, with expertise in materials and process selection, including high-temperature materials and single crystal technology. Prior to this role, Azad served as a Senior Materials and Process Engineer at Accenture, supporting Airbus globally with qualifications of materials and manufacturing processes. Previous positions include work at umlaut company, the Aeronautical Development Agency as a Senior Research Fellow, and Bharat Electronics as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Azad holds a Master of Technology in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
