Ann Thorn is a retired Director of Engineering specializing in Technical Program Management and QA, having concluded their tenure at 98point6 at the end of September 2022. With 17 years of experience in biomedical devices, particularly with the HeartStart defibrillator, Ann worked across all phases of product development, from design to FDA approval. They have held various positions, including at Philips Healthcare and Heartstream, contributing to the advancement of life-saving medical technologies. Ann holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Ohio State University.
