Phillip Hurlbut is a seasoned meteorologist with extensive experience in managing meteorological campaigns and providing resource estimates for utility-scale solar projects, currently serving as Lead Meteorologist at Pattern Energy Group since June 2009. Previously, Phillip held positions as Senior Meteorologist and Meteorologist/Data Analyst at Babcock and Brown, and Meteorologist/Data Analyst at AWS Convergence Technologies, Inc., along with a role as Meteorological Field Representative, where responsibilities included maintaining a network of surface observation stations. Early in the career, Phillip worked as a Student Quality Assurance Assistant at Oklahoma Mesonet, focusing on data quality assurance. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, obtained in 2006.
