Max Thompson is a lead energy meteorologist for Duke Energy's Meteorology Team, where they provide critical forecasting and support for load management and system operations. They previously served as an Operational Meteorologist for Duke Energy in both the Carolinas and Midwest regions, and worked as a Weather Forecaster intern at AccuWeather. Max holds a degree in Meteorology from Penn State University, where they focused on forecasting, weather risk, and energy business.
