Levi Schimelfining, P.E. currently holds the position of Acting Manager, Refueling & Remote Handling at NuScale Power, where responsibilities include overseeing robotics and automation in refueling processes. With extensive mechanical engineering experience, Levi has progressed through various roles at NuScale Power, from Mechanical Engineer I to Mechanical Engineer III. In addition, Levi is serving as Engineering Faculty at Linn-Benton Community College. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Air-Weigh On-Board Scales and a position as Associate Design Engineer at Consolidated Metco. Levi's educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering/Robotics and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Oregon State University, alongside an Associate of Science from Portland Community College.
