Tonja Langhurst is an experienced HR professional with over 25 years in various managerial roles, currently serving as the Director of Hire to Retire Services and HR Delivery at NiSource since July 2008. In this role, Tonja oversees Human Resource Information Systems, HR delivery, payroll, compliance, and project delivery, while executing outsourcing functions to third-party vendors. Prior to this position, Tonja held several roles at IBM and NiSource, including Payroll Services Manager and Payroll Operations Manager, where responsibilities included managing payroll operations, system improvements, and large payroll teams. Tonja began her career managing payroll functions at National Propane and Columbia Propane, developing extensive expertise in HR and payroll management, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Organization Management from Calumet College of St. Joseph.
