Rajiv Gupta serves as Chief of Operations and Principal Chief Engineer/Sr. Vice President at Mahindra Group since August 2019, overseeing the delivery of ICE powered premium SUVs. Gupta has held multiple leadership roles within Mahindra's operations sector, focusing on material cost optimization and component development. Previous experience includes Vice President roles at General Motors, managing Purchasing and Supply Chain operations in India, as well as Powertrain Purchasing for SAIC General Motors. Gupta's career began at Ford Motor Company as a Buyer and included significant contributions at Royal Enfield in materials management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, an additional Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Srinagar, and an MBA in International Business from Pune University.
