Sorooban Selvaratnam is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in senior financial roles across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Kraken since October 2020, Sorooban has previously held significant positions at Octopus Energy Services and Octopus Electric Vehicles as Strategic Finance Director. Prior to this, Sorooban was Financial Controller at Octopus Energy and has held leadership roles at Airport Media OOH and DigiCom Out of Home as Head of Finance and Operations, and at Fishburn Communications as Commercial Controller. Earlier experience includes senior management accounting at AMV Group and finance management at Autoscript Ltd. Sorooban's career commenced with a financial controller position at Parlourwood Ltd, where strategic involvement with major brands was a key responsibility. Sorooban holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from King's College London.
