Ryan Blumenthal is an experienced professional in the solar energy industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at Intersect Power since June 2021, overseeing a team and managing operations for 2 GWdc and 1.5 GWh BESS projects. Prior to this role, Ryan held positions at Cypress Creek Renewables as a Senior Performance Engineer, working with data from 400 solar farms totaling 3.5 GWdc capacity, and at Pristine Sun LLC as a Development Engineer and PV System Designer, where engineering designs were created to support financial viability and sales efforts. Additional experience includes remote solar design at Sungevity, an internship in performance engineering at Recurrent Energy, and research at Cal Poly State University focused on organic photovoltaics. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a specialization in Solar Cells from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
