Yasmeen Sayyah is a Senior Legal Counsel at HUMAN CAPITAL, having joined in January 2024, and previously served as Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes an Associate Attorney role at Sidley Austin LLP from September 2021 to January 2024, focusing on corporate law involving emerging companies, venture capital, M&A, and capital markets. Yasmeen earned a J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where legal experience included roles as a Summer Associate Law Clerk and Law Clerk at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, as well as an intern with the ACLU SoCal. Prior to pursuing law, Yasmeen was a sixth-grade English Language Arts teacher in Duval County Public Schools and a Corps Member with Teach For America. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of Alabama.
