Sam Di is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in statistical forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning applications across various industries. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Headspace, Sam specializes in subscription LTV and large language models. Previously, Sam held the position of Senior Data Scientist at HBOMax, focusing on content and subscriber forecasting, as well as web crawling and data pipelines. Additional roles include Data Scientist at Tradesy, where Sam worked on GMV predictions and customer segmentation, and Data Scientist at Factual Inc. Sam's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi. Sam has also contributed to research projects funded by the Department of Homeland Security and has experience in implementing advanced machine learning techniques for various applications.
