Patrick Bergermann has extensive experience in the agricultural and energy sectors, currently serving as Associate Vice President for Energy Roadmap at Federated Co-operatives Limited since September 2012. In this role, Patrick leads initiatives towards a low-carbon future in transportation fuels, focusing on the entire value chain from seed to tank, while pursuing opportunities to enhance Canadian agriculture through renewable energy markets. Previous positions include Associate Vice-President of Ag & Home, Director of Crop Supplies, Marketing Manager for Crop Supplies, and Manager of Crop Protection for Western Canada at the same organization. Prior experience encompasses roles at Philips Healthcare as an Account Manager in Diagnostic Imaging, Merck Frosst as a Product & Disease Specialist for Asthma, and Dow AgroSciences as a Sales Representative. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of Saskatchewan’s Edwards School of Business, earned between 1994 and 1998.
