Tim Wass is an experienced corporate lawyer specializing in public and private M&A and equity capital markets transactions. Currently the Head of Legal EMEA at Evercore since January 2019, Tim has previously held positions as Managing Associate at Simmons & Simmons, where involvement included a secondment to HSBC Global Banking and Markets as Legal Counsel. Tim's earlier roles include Senior Associate at Mills & Reeve and Associate at CMS Cameron McKenna, with multiple secondments to Marsh & McLennan Companies, BP, and other firms. Tim holds a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School, and a History degree from the University of Nottingham, complemented by studies at the University of Toronto.
