David Linfield is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in U.S. foreign policy and diplomacy, primarily within the U.S. Department of State, where roles include Senior Libya Desk Officer, Foreign Service Officer, and various positions in political and consular affairs in multiple embassies. Linfield has also served as Director for North African Affairs at the National Security Council and held fellowships conducting research on Middle Eastern political stability and social dynamics at the Council on Foreign Relations and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Additional experience includes contributions to research on technology impacts in the Middle East, human trafficking legislation, and regional issues at various think tanks. Linfield holds two master's degrees in Security Policy Studies and Arabic, International Relations and is a graduate of Phillips Academy.
