Shelby Best-Abramowitz has extensive experience in child welfare and legal sectors, currently serving as an Operations Review Specialist at the Florida Department of Children and Families since October 2015, with previous roles including Program Administrator, Family Safety Specialist, and Child Protective Investigator. Prior to this, Shelby worked as a Civil Litigation Paralegal at Halifax Law Group from July 2009 to November 2015 and at Smith, Hood, Loucks, Stout, Bigman & Brock, P.A. from January 2005 to June 2009. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science from the University of Central Florida, earned between 1993 and 1996.
