Richard Thompson is currently the Director of Edge Engineering at Cloudflare, Inc., a position held since 2023. They previously served as an Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Manager at Cloudflare from 2018 to 2022, and as a Network Engineer from 2010 to 2015 at Snap, where they focused on maintaining and expanding the company's IP/MPLS network. Additionally, Richard has been a Non-Executive Director at the Internet Association of Australia Inc. since 2020. Richard earned a Bachelor’s degree in ICT from CPIT in 2013, following a Certificate of System Administration from the same institution in 2012.
