Sofia Howard serves as the Head of Treasury Risk Management at Clifford Capital since July 2024. Prior experience includes more than a decade at Standard Chartered, where Sofia held several senior roles, including Managing Director of Treasury Sustainability Strategy and Ventures, focusing on Sustainable Finance and Net Zero, and Regional Head of Treasury Risk for ASEAN and South Asia, managing a team of 15. Additional roles at Standard Chartered involved oversight of short-term liquidity and traded risk within the ASA region. Prior to Standard Chartered, Sofia held leadership positions at RBS and ABN AMRO Bank N.V., with expertise in balance sheet management and credit analysis across various regions. Sofia’s educational background includes a Certificate of Green and Sustainable Finance from The Chartered Banker Institute and a law degree from Lund University.
