Robert Copeland MBA, JD is an experienced professional in environmental strategy and policy, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Global Chemical Policy & Strategy at Boeing since 1998. Copeland leads initiatives to develop and implement chemical sustainability measures and compliance strategies across the enterprise. Additionally, Copeland has been an active City Council Member in Signal Hill since 2017, including a term as Mayor, where leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and community-focused initiatives were key achievements. Involved in multiple boards and committees, including the South Coast Air Quality Management District and the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District, Copeland applies expertise in environmental compliance and public health. Academic qualifications include a BS in Chemistry from UCLA, a JD in Intellectual Property from Southwestern Law School, and an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
