John Hancock is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance, legal support, and contract management. Currently serving as the Compliance and Assurance Manager at AQA since August 2021, John provides crucial legal and compliance support to the Sourcing and Supply Management team. Prior to this, John held various roles at DRS Data Services from 1996 to 2021, including Legal and Systems Compliance Manager, where responsibilities encompassed legal advisement and management of quality and risk management systems, as well as Data Protection Officer duties. John's earlier experience includes positions as Bid and Contracts Manager, New Business Group Manager, and Project Manager, ultimately laying a solid foundation in project management and customer service. Academically, John holds a BSc in Computer and Information Systems from De Montfort University, an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and a CILEx Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice.
