Torbjorn Kjus currently serves as Chief Economist at Aker BP ASA since June 2024, bringing extensive experience in economic analysis within the energy sector. Prior to this role, Kjus was Chief Economist at Aker ASA from January 2019 to July 2024 and also held the position of Chief Economist & Head of Investor Relations. Kjus has worked as an Asset Management Specialist at Vistin Trading and spent over a decade at DNB Markets as Chief Oil Analyst, overseeing oil and gas market research. Additional experience includes a role as Bench Analyst at British Petroleum and Oil Market Analyst at Norsk Hydro. Kjus holds a State Authorized Public Accountant degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and an Accountant degree from BI Norwegian Business School.
