Ramesh Patil is a seasoned professional in supply chain management with over two decades of experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Purchase Manager at A O Smith India since March 2013, Ramesh oversees end-to-end supply chain operations with a focus on localization, new product launches, project procurement, cost reduction, and budgeting. Prior to this role, Ramesh held the position of Senior Manager at Godrej & Boyce-Appliance Division, where responsibilities included managing supply chain operations valued at Rs. 150 Cr annually. Ramesh's earlier career includes procurement roles at Philips High-tech Plastics Pvt Ltd and Whirlpool of India Ltd. Ramesh holds a specialization course in Supply Chain from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Basaweshwar Engineering College Bagalkot.
