Dan McDonald is the President, CEO, and Co-Founder of 86Borders, a company focused on tailored member relationship management for health plan members, including those in DSNP, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid. They co-founded 86Borders to break down barriers to care, leveraging a proprietary technology platform and care coordination services that enable connections with inactive, hard-to-reach, and underserved members; they collaborate with some of the nation’s largest health plans to improve member engagement, close care gaps, and facilitate wellness visits. Earlier in their career, they served as EVP at National Financial Partners (2004–2006), President of BPP (2006–2014), Senior VP at GenAmerica/MetLife (1999–2003), and SVP at ING (2003–2004). They earned a BA in Economics from Furman University (1976–1979).
