Michael Oates is a seasoned human resources professional with over 15 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of P&C Strategy and Integrations at Zayo Group. In this role, they act as Chief of Staff to the CPCO, optimizing HR functions and leading M&A integration efforts. Previously, they held various HR leadership positions at Coherent Corp. and Exco Resources, focusing on strategic HR services and M&A activities. Additionally, Michael earned a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and Strategy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University. Currently, they also serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the Sierra 2 Center for the Arts & Community.
