Founded in 2009, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is the continuation of Students for Ron Paul. 

YAL is the most active and effective libertarian youth organization advancing liberty on campus and in American electoral politics. Our four-step mission is to identify, educate, train, and mobilize youth activists to make liberty win.

Our vision is to build a bench of 250 liberty legislators by the end of 2022 at the state level who will advance a libertarian philosophy, ascend to higher office, and reclaim the direction of our government.

Grassroots Operations

The Development and Fundraising team at Young Americans for Liberty focuses on securing financial resources to support the organization's mission of advancing liberty through youth activism. This team cultivates relationships with donors, develops fundraising strategies, and coordinates events to engage supporters, ensuring the sustainability of YAL's programs and initiatives aimed at training and mobilizing the next generation of libertarian leaders.

The Marketing and Communications team at Young Americans for Liberty is responsible for crafting and promoting the organization's message to engage and mobilize young activists. They create compelling graphics, oversee digital media strategies, and develop marketing campaigns that educate and inspire students about libertarian principles. Through strategic communication efforts, the team aims to amplify YAL's initiatives and enhance the visibility of liberty-focused candidates and policies.
