Idan Levin currently serves as Chapter Lead for the San Francisco Bay Area at PEF Community and is an angel investor for ComplexChaos and Zenity. With a significant tenure at Microsoft from August 2017 to July 2025, Idan held positions including Partner Chief Architect and Partner Group Engineering Manager, where Idan played a pivotal role in integrating Generative AI into Microsoft Security products and overseeing the architecture for M365 Security products. Previously, Idan was a Principal Group Engineering Manager at Dig Security, which was acquired by Palo Alto Networks. As co-founder and CTO of Hexadite, Idan developed the first agentless intelligent security orchestration platform for large enterprises. Other notable roles include leading R&D teams at Elbit Systems Ltd and co-founding CallByText, a cloud service that gained a substantial user base without traditional marketing efforts. Idan has been involved with YL Ventures and Cyberstarts VC since 2018 and continues to influence the cybersecurity landscape.
