Sergey Ovcharenko is a seasoned professional in deep learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Deep Learning Team Lead and Senior Research Engineer at Yandex since June 2017. Prior to this role, Sergey worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at NTechLab, focusing on the research and development of deep neural networks for image recognition and creating a robust image search engine from June 2015 to June 2017. Sergey also has a background as a Graduate Research Scientist at JSCC RAS from August 2009 to December 2015 and held the position of Deputy Director for Domain Development at Фонд Развития Интернет from April 2011 to October 2015. Earlier experience includes a role as a Junior Java Developer at NetCracker in 2008. Sergey Ovcharenko completed education at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University).
