Shama Amalean Skinner is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Beachhead Advisor at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and a Collaborator Network Strategic Advisor at The Newcastle Network. With a background that includes roles as Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO at Thinx Inc. and Board Member positions at Take2 and MAS ACME USA, Shama has demonstrated significant leadership abilities across diverse sectors. An Edmund Hillary Fellow and NACD certified Board Director, they also contribute as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners and a Guest Lecturer at Parsons School of Design. Shama holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies and French from The University of Sheffield.
