Heng Yang is the Director of Research and Development at Xerion Advanced Battery Corp, bringing 14 years of experience in the research and development of battery materials, systems, and recycling. They have held various positions, including Senior Battery Scientist and Postdoctoral Scholar, where they focused on Li-ion battery recycling and solid electrolytes. Heng completed a PhD in Materials Science at Binghamton University, where they conducted significant research on Li-O2 batteries and electrode materials. Prior to their current role, Heng contributed to battery manufacturing and quality control at Baosheng Battery Co.
