Yu-Chen Ku has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Yu-Chen began as a Summer Intern at the Institute for Information Industry in 2014, followed by a Laboratory Research Assistant at the National Taipei University of Technology, also in 2014. In 2017, they began Alternative Military Service at the R.O.C. Air Force Academy, and since 2019 they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Xage Security.

In 2016, they attended San Jose State University as an Exchange Student for Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering. Yu-Chen then earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from National Taipei University of Technology from 2014 to 2017. In 2018 to 2019, they obtained Certificates in Computer Software Engineering from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension. In March 2019, they also obtained a Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services.
