Gang Yin is a seasoned research and development leader currently serving as the Vice President at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. since 2023, where they head research efforts. With a solid background that includes roles as Executive Director, Senior Director, and Principal Scientist at Sutro Biopharma, as well as experience as a Senior Scientist and Principal Investigator at Fundamental Applied Biology Inc., Gang has demonstrated strong strategic and scientific leadership skills. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology, and a Bachelor's Double Major in Environmental Science from Tsinghua University, alongside international experience as a visiting graduate student at Uppsala University. Gang completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University from 2001 to 2004.
