Jun Tian is an experienced professional in the biotechnology field, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Development and Technical Operations at WuXi Biologics since May 2019. Prior to this role, Jun Tian held the position of Head of US Pilot Plant, Process Development Biologics at Shire from June 2018 to May 2019 and served as a Senior Scientist and Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb from November 2011 to June 2018. Earlier career experiences include the role of Staff Scientist at Life Technologies from June 2010 to October 2011. Jun Tian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering with a focus on Cell and Gene-based Therapies, Tissue Engineering, and Stem Cells from the University at Buffalo, as well as a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemical and Chemical and Biological Engineering, respectively, from Zhejiang University.
