Paul Palmer is a Senior Principal Geological Engineer with over 30 years of experience as a mining consultant. They have worked as a mine geologist at Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co Limited's Ruttan Mine and at TVX Gold's New Britannia Mine, where they specialized in geological supervision and mine planning. Currently, they lead a team at WSP focused on investigating and rehabilitating physical mine hazards. Additionally, from 2000 to 2020, they held key leadership roles at Golder, overseeing a diverse group of professionals in mine engineering and rock mechanics across North America. Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Memorial University of Newfoundland and an Engineer’s degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Toronto.
