Eric Hood, PhD, PEng, is a Senior Principal Environmental Engineer at WSP, where they apply their extensive expertise in contaminant hydrogeology and remediation technologies. They previously worked as a Senior Scientist at Geosyntec Consultants and as an Associate Senior Engineer at Golder Associates, focusing on site assessment and treatment system design. Eric earned a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering. Their contributions were recognized by the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council for their work on bioremediation of DNAPLs, including authoring key guidance documents.
