WSA is a global network of experts, mentors, start-ups and young entrepreneurs who promote and recognize digital applications with an impact on society.

WSA was initiated in 2003 in the framework of the UN World Summit on Information Society. WSA uses the meachnism of a global UN based award to find out the best and most innovative start-ups and creative solutions to make our world a better place.
